Join us for a Zoom conversation on the 1796 Tennessee Constitution and the amendments made in 1834 and 1870. We will tour Governor Blount's office, where the constitution was written, with Blount Mansion Director David Hearnes. Dr. William Hardy, Lincoln Scholar and Assistant Professor of History at Lincoln Memorial University, will then share key points to understand about 19th century constitutional changes. Master teacher Rebecca Byrd will share key resources for use in the classroom.
The nice thing about Zoom workshops is that they are easy to join from anywhere! Register today and share with others!
