Imogene King

Imogene King served nine years as a commissioner on the Knoxville/Knox County Metropolitan Planning Commission, including two years as its chairman, served on the local Urban Growth Policy Commission and Knoxville Civil Service Merit Board, and was a commissioner on the Knoxville-Knox County Charter Commission during the last attempt to unify city and county government. She is a resident of Greeneville and Nashville. After graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1981 and in addition to private practice, she worked as a special assistant U.S. Attorney in Tennessee, Alabama, and Virginia with the U.S. Department of the Interior. She joined Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP in 1990.
